NT-Force Log Out

By packetsniffer_2000 ·
Does anyone know how to set windows nt 4.0 server to automatically disconnect logged in users at a certain time? Just setting the log in time does not do the trick, it only restricts log in, it will not kick you out if you are already logged in when your time expires you are still in.

Thanks,

In User Manager select Account... from the Policy menu and check "Forcibly disconnect remote users from server when logon hours expire".

I cracked this problem by installing the WINEXIT screen saver. You get Winexit from the wonderful NT Resource KIT.
Once installed you can set to automatically disconnect after x minutes of inactivity.
