Any1 know how to setup a networked printer on windows nt workstation w/ logging in as the user. When installing network printer under local admin the user does not see the printer when they log in?

Try logging in as a new user, add the printer and test, log off and back in as admin, then copy the NTUSER.DAT file from the root of the new users profile to the root of the default users profile overwriting the one in it. Log in as one of your target users and the printer should be there. remember to delete any existing user profiles for them to pick up the changes when they next log in. Hope this helps...

There is a utility in the Microsoft Zero Administration kit call con2prt.exe which allows you to map a printer through command line. Then you can map the printer in the logon script.
