I’ve got a home user running Windows NT. They’ve been working from home through our internet web-site and connecting to the internet via NetZero’s free interent service. They’re not getting too much use to continue NetZero and are signing on with a local ISP, but they can’t get things working right. I’ve talked with the ISP and they’ve sited an issue with NetZero putting something in the registry that affects TCP/IP routing (this is getting in over my head a bit), thus preventing the user from getting to ANY web pages. Anyway, they (ISP) know how to fix this on 95/98, but don’t have a clue for NT. I’ve gotten nothing useful from NetZero. I’ve also search Microsoft’s site, but haven’t had any luck. The ISP (SpearNet) is just a straight dial-in ISP no special software or anything.
If anyone could offer any advice on this I would greatly appreciate it.
