NT Printer Share

I have a NT workstation with sp6a installed. We have shared an alps printer that is connected locally to it. Everything was fine, you could install and access the printer on any computer on the network. Now, it isn’t working. If you log onto a computer as a normal end user and try to see the printer in network neighborhood, it doesn’t show up. You have to log into a computer with domain admins or local admin permissions to see the printer in network neighborhood and to install and use it.We have gone over permissions, and it seems that nothing has changed. We have looked over services, and nothing has changed. Has anyone ever experienced this problem or know what might be the cause and a solution. Thank you.
