I am preparing to upgrade from NT Server to Windows 2000 Server. I have established hardware and software compatabilities, and have obtained all necessary drivers and patch/upgrades for my system. I have also conducted a checkupgradeonly and it cameback clean. My only concern is… will W2k Server automaticaly turn on all of the services that the NT os has established? And in the same aspects, will all of the shared/permisions rights be implemented on the files and folders once upgrade is complete?
The information I have obtained so far is “backup, document and go for it” but I would like a little better explanation than this.
