I have a HP server(model LC2000)loaded with Windows NT4.0 server with SP5.The server is also loaded with MFISC database application s/w plus Lotus Notes 5.5.So whenever i try to load or install any updates of above applications through CDrom ,my NT server just crashes after 20%-30% progress displaying dead blue screen with lots of error codes which i am unable to analyze the problem. As per the suggestions from some of my technical friends i have replaced the CDROM drive with new one of same kind .But the problem still exist. I have not tried installing other applications apart from above as they are not required. But i know same thing will happen for the others.One task i can do from cdrom is that i can do copying to harddisk easily without any hassles.Can any one Please help me out on this issue. Please don’t tell me to install everything again on server because i have big database applications running on server.
