I am trying to configure an NT4 Server to share network resources in a peer to peer workgoup. I have given the server a static IP of 192.168.0.20 and have set the workgroup but I am only able to see 4 of the 12 machines in network neighbourhood. Also, when I click on the machine in the neighbourhood I receive a message stating the network path is not accessible. The machine is setup as a member server. I have one other NT server in the workgroup that I have no problem with. I know the machine is conneecting because the network monitor show the browser service running constant master browser challenges with two of the machines in the workgroup but I am unable to see any of the other machines.
The net login service is set to auto but is not running because we are in a workgroup.
Any suggestions
