NT server Liscensing

By Funcke ·
I have a 15 user Citrix server running on an NT 4 server. The NT server has assigned all it's licenses, yet I have less than 15 users. How do I get rid of old user licenses so new licenses can be assigned?

You don't - you change to per seat licensing. Do this from the licensing control panel. Use license manager then to purchase 15 per seat licences for NT server.

You might also need to create a licence group to hold all your licenced users - youcan then track unlicenced access, or add new users as required.

I have 15 per seat licenses. My problem is that they've been assigned, some to users who no longer need access or no longer work for us. I need to know how to release these or expire them.

Go to the license manager in Administrative Tools. Then click on clients (per seat). This gives you a list of all users assigned licenses. Here you can delete unwanted users.
