I am having a problem with the policy for the agents on my NT machines I have set up a template account and have everything exactley as i want it the policy file is up on the the PDC and is being replicated to the import directory on the BDC's (ihave confirmed this) I have the template user's account on a share on a fileserver and it is downloaded each time the user logs on it is a mandatory profile and again everything is exactley as it should be. My problem is that when i add a user to the group (NTagents) and i copy the template profile, rename it and share it. the policy is not enforced on the local machine but the profile is used (i.e i can see all of the shortcuts) + the accesories folder (which should be removed as part ofthe policy), and all of the programs in startup run. there are no group priorities for the NTagents in the policy editor as the NTagent is the only one there For each user i have set NTagents as the primary group. I think there are two problems but i cant figure them out. 1. I dont think that the NTuser.man file is being applied for any user other than the template account(dellagent) is the NTuser.man file user specific? 2. The policy is not beiong applied for any other user other than the template account i have no idea why even if i specify a single user rather than group it is still not being applied but again if i go back to the dellagent and make changes the new policy is downloaded for the dellagent!.
