I am adding a pc with nt wkst 4.0 to a network. ive installed sp4 and the network, and the card is on irg 11. i still keep getting an error that at least one device did not start. Ive checked the services and i didnt see any conflicts. when i wentinto event viewer it is showing that my scsi port 1 is not working properlly. when i go into scsi applet in the control panel it shows scsi 0 as a cdrom set up by nt and scsi 1 as my actuall cd rom. i guess what i want to know is how do i remove or change the port for the scsi devices so there is only one cd rom showing, and what can i do to check that my network adaptor is working properly other the the test adapter in network aplet.
