NT workstation access to printer

By davew43boss ·
I have a NT workstation that will not allow the PDC Server to see the printer.. I keep getting messages " access denied "

I have the printer share turned on and I am logged into the domain of the PDC. I cannot seem to figure why I cannot get this set. This workstation was working ok before. We had been hit with the NIMDA virus and I reconfigured that workstation reloading NT from scratch.

Any Ideas...

Should you use Symantec FixNimda utility, then it remove shares from your NT.

You should check your permission and security tab. Usually on your permission, all other users/groups are removed and the one that left will be the administrator with only read privileges. Change your permission from Administrators/Domain Admins to everyone(Full Control) and redefine your security settings will do.

Hope it would helps.

Nimbda attacks network shares. You may have removed the virus by reformatting your Wkst. But, it spreads to all shares on the network. You have to check all of your networked machines with Symantec Nimbda removal software.
