I have difficulty with a PCI Hayes modem on NT4. Installing with the driver cd is fine it detects it and installs it on com 3. RAS installs modem but on the restart it generates an event viewer error. If I start RAS it generates a 633 error. I cannot get phone dialer to work or hyperterminal to connect to the modem. This also is the case on a newly built pc (Compaq Deskpro EXD). Trying to get NT4 to detect and install the modem doesnt work as it doesnt detect it and install it, it only shows com1 and 2.
