NT4 Server Browsing and Sharing

I have an NT4 Server (PDC) that is acting strangely. When I open Network Neighborhood I get an hourglass for about 5-10 seconds before the list opens. It opens instantaneously on the Workstations. When I try to share a printer, I right click on the printer and select Sharing. After clicking OK, the hand never appears under the icon for the printer AND the server disappears from the Browse list. The only way to get it back is to reboot the server.

I am using TCP/IP only with static IP’s and Lmhosts file for name resolution locally. I have SP6a installed on the server as well.
