Implementing new accounting system on NT4 Terminal Server. Using system policies to heavily restrict user access: custom desktop (no icons), start menu, programs, etc. There’s a Shell|Restrictions option to “Remove folders from Settings on Start menu”, but users are then unable to add their own printers, even if I’ve provided an “Add Printer” shortcut in their Start menu (ie, the shortcut won’t run it). I want to allow TS users to add their own printers while restricting access to the Control Panels. Any suggestions?
