I build a PC with intel 815 chipset MOBO, Promise Technology FastTrack100 IDE Raid controler and SMC 1211TX NIC, two IBM Deskstar 30 GB drives in Raid 0 config.
This server freezes when data is being backed up over the network by another server.
There is no entry in the event viewer indicating any hardware problem, but the Raid controler and NIC are using IRQ 9. Could this be a problem?
