NT4ALL

By stevebarra ·
Has anyone used the program NT4ALL?It is a program that if installed allows you to logon using any password even for administrator. To use you must have write permissions to the Winnt\System32 folder.
I used the program to succesfully get someone back onto their machine as administrator after they had forgotteh their password.
The question is is there a way to reinstall password protection after using the program?
Steve.

I would try to do a repair of the SAM from the NT workstation CD and the Emergency repair disk. If you don't have an ERD you can opt to repair the SAM without it.
Boot with the CD in and followin the on screen instruction.
Then select repair SAM when the choice comes up. - I don't know another option if you don't have the NT4.0 workstation CD. Good luck.
