My mate got his lap top back & the CD ROM drive was spinning but making a ‘click’ every now & then and not reading the disc.
Tried booting up this morning and the Vaio screen comes up then ‘NTCRD is missing – press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart. This happens again and again.
Is there anyway I can repair this?
Also, I cannot start the Laptop in Safe mode.
I have gone to the Phoenix Bios Utilty screen but nothing I do helps.
