I have a windows 2000 terminal server that I am locking down by limiting user permissions on c:\, c:\winnt, c:\program files, c:\document and settings. Most of the permissions are read, or read and execute. The users are receiving the following: "you are not authorize to use the selected printer" when sending a print job. I know this is a permissions problem, but I do not know where. Can someone help? Thanks.

go to the printer properties of the printer. Under security grant everyone/group of users to Print Documents only. Make sure you have admin right to do this steps.
is the printer is attached to ur terminal server,if so ten try remove the permissions on the print spooler folder and grant everyone write perimission.
