I have two Global Security Groups in Active Directory and I want to setup a shared folder on Window Server 2003. I want the permissions on the shared folder so neither Group A nor Group B can save files or docs in this folder. Nor can they make any changes in this shared folder. Within this shared folder are several subfolders each named after a member of Group A. I want both Group A and Group B to see these folders. The members of Group A need have full control of the subfolder bearing their name. The members of Group B can only save documents in different subfolders belonging to Group A, but not in all of the folders just those assigned to them. Group A access to the first layer shared folder is via mapped drive at the local level (mapped on their computer). Group B receives the mapped drive via Group Policy in Active Directory. I have tried many combinations of share permission and NTFS Security permission and cannot get it to function properly. Need Help
