NTFS4 drive into an NTFS 5 pc.

by ssegro . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

We put a WinNT drive with NTFS4 partitions into an Win2000 pc that already had a drive running NTFS5. Now we can’t see any of the data that was on the NT4 drive. Does Win2000
do something to hard drives that have NT4 loaded on them when it boots upto convert them over to NT5. When I try to view the data on the drive it says “drive not accessible” and “the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable”. Any Ideas on what we can do to get the data off the drive?
