NTKERN Device Error

I have a Celeron 1.7 Ghz system with Intel 845 Chipset motherboard & 256 MB DDR RAM .
I have 3 op. systems installed. ( SUSE LINUX 9.1, WINDOWS XP with Srv pack 2 & Windows 98 ). The problem while starting up sometimes when I try to load Windows 98, it gives Windows protection error NTKERN Device error & stops. On the same machine other 2 operating systems are working fine, so there is no hardware related problem. I have reinstalled WINDOWS 98, but it still gives problem sometimes ( not always ). ? Can anybody help me out ?
