ntldr

I installed windows 2000 professional on a pc with 128 MB RAM, 400Mhz AMD, 12Gb Hard Disk, and when rebooting, I had a message on the screen thus, missing ntldr. I re-installed 2000 again and yet the same message still came up and couldn't run windows 2000. Any solution would be appreciated.

Try booting with a win98/95 startup disk then type FDISK /MBR. That will rewrite the MBR. Then format the HD and reinstall W2K.

I know this may sounfd like a stupid question, was there a non- bootable floppy diks in teh floppy drive at startup? this is the default error when this occurs. unlike in win 98 where you got a "o/s not found error"
