NTLDR

What to do when NTLDR is missing? for Windows 2000 Proffessional. I copied it back to C:\ using recovery console. Then it said invalid boot.ini ntdetect failed. So I copied another boot.ini from another computer and put it on C:\, then I copied ntdetect.com to C:\. So I got the dual boot screen with W2K PRO as one of the options. Then I got to the logon box, logged in, but then when it says ‘loading personal settings’ i get the box ‘saving your settings’ straight after, then it takes me back tothe logon box. So I setup W2K to repair installation, then I logged on fine, but then some of the programs registry settings have been removed and the programs do not start. I also had PGP (program) running and it does not work anymore.
