ntldr errors

By huntingonedown ·
Built my first home pc and ran into this error right after the bios loads. Hit the cntl-alt-del and it takes me into a big loop of rebooting. What Ive read about this error is it happens alot when a o.s. is upgraded. Im not upgrading at all. No other o.s. has been downloaded. The day before this happened I had made it all the way to the windows xp ula agreement. I couldnt get the F8 to register because of the F lock key that I didnt realize that I had. Shut it off and the next day had this error. Cant get passed it. Any help would be appriciated. Sarcastic remarks not needed though. Thanks....

Run FDISK and get rid of partitions on the hard disk (I am assuming that this is a new disk and doesn't have any information on it).

Run the Windows installation again.

ALSO: This is not meant as sarcastic. Make sure there is not a floppy in the floppy drive. It is looking for a system drive that is not there
