Hi,

While listening to music that is on my hard drive, my Windows Media Player turned on in the background for a few seconds, then turned off. I immediately disconnected from the internet, and started my AVG anti-virus software. The first things that popped up were 4 files that are listed as “changed”

kernel32.dll
user32.dll
shell32.dll
ntoskrnl.exe

I did not download anything today, although I followed a link from Google while looking for a Mission Statement for Target Corporation that took me to some website that had NOTHING to do with Target.

Has anyone had these “changes” pop up through their Windows Media Player, and are they something I should be worried about?
I am running a laptop with Windows XP Professional, connected to the internet via wireless broadband connection.

Thanks
