i have a nvidia nforce3 chipset board i have installed one sata drive and want to install xp firstly do i need to install both the raid class driver and storage controller as requested even though im not going to use a raid array? as on f6 install boot from floppy i’m asked for both, find this confusing as i’m not really sure what a nforce storage controller is. in my bios ive got sat primary 1 set in the ide controller, also ive download 2 different drivers one is sata raid for executing on a floppy and the other is sata raid/ide? which 1 should i use?
