After installing the second Netware 5.1 server into our mixed 4.2, 5.0, 5.1 tree, I noticed 625 remote errors from the new server. The server was failing to communicate to other servers on different VLANs’. IP pinging other server on different andsame VLANs works OK. IPXPINGing servers on different VLANs does not respong. Only servers on the same VLAN respond to IPXPING. SAP is not being filtered at the switches or routers. The IPX Internal network number is unique as far as I checked.
