NWADMIN32 Home Directory Quota

By greg_thornton ·
I need to increase the disk space quota for a user's home directory, and it seems I've forgotten how to do it. Can anyone help?

P.S. It's Netware 5.1

OK 2 possible methods.

1.) In NWADMIN32 drill down until you find the volume that contains the users home directory. Right click on the volume object and select details. Select the User Space Limits tab on the right hand side. Navigate throughthe Search Context to the location wherre the user objects are stored. This should bring up a list of all of the users. Highlight any a user and slect Modify. The rest should be straightforward. Note that this is a limit for the user on the whole volume....

2.) For a directory limit in NWADMIN32 drill down until you find the volume that contains the users home directory (directories are shown in green). Right click on the users directory and select details. From the page options tabs, select Facts. Under here you get the option to restrict the size of the the directory....

A word of warning - do NOT mix volume/directory restrictions with user restrictions on the same volume, it can be a nightmare to manage!

3rd possible method:

User quota on NSS volumes can only be managed with ConsoleOne, on the same manner as described above..
