I have recently come across a wonderful shareware utility called Netpeek. It allows me to type in the IP address of a computer on my network and obtain several details about the computer, including the MAC address. I don’t mind the idea of plunking down the money for Netpeek, except that ninety percent of the time ALL I want is the MAC address.
My question is this: Is there just a basic utility I am unaware of that will return the MAC address of a remote computer on my network when given theIP address or computer name?
