I have a user trying to run reports off of a Oracle database using an Oracle 7 driver and a program called IQ reports. The reports are not running for reasons unknown and when trying to Add/Remove or Configure this driver under the ODBC 32bit control panel Windows gives the error message
“setup routines for the IQ oracle 7 ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 1114”.
When trying to reinstall or remove the driver from the oracle CD Windows gives the error message “ORAINST caused an invalid page fault in module MSCVRT.dll”
I have tried removing the driver in safe mode (same error message). And have now removed the IQ reports software and deleted any .dll’s and folders to do with the IQ software and the oracle driver. Ireinstalled the reports software but I still can’t add the driver or install it from the CD……PLEASE HELP!!!
