    OE Terminates Internet Connection

    Why does my Outlook Express terminate and then redial my Internet connection every time I send an e-mail? My other e-mail programs do not do this.

      Each mail account will have a connection associated with it and will try to dial it even though it may already be connected. Edit the account properties and set the connection to Any Available

      Under Tools | Options, choose the Connection tab. There is a check box for “Hang up after sending and receiving”. Unchecking it should fix the issue.
