oeminfo.ini in XP

I was wondering,how would I use the oeminfo.ini in XP? I know that in 2000 and 98 I would just place it in the sys files and/or sys32 files and the information would appear on system information. It does not work in XP, anyone know the answer?, also how would I change the default image there also?
