Of “Enterprise” and “Andromeda”, which is more true to Trek’s vision?

Having watched both shows, I have my own personal opinion on this, but I won’t state it here, lest everyone simply echo me in an effort to “appease” me.

In “Enterprise”, we saw a lot of canon-busting moves (more than I can count) that reduced the believability of the series for the long-term fans.

In “Andromeda”, which seems almost to be a post-apocalypse variant of Trek in some ways. We see a single ship struggling to survive and revive their system of government.

In “Enterprise”, there seemed to be a marked lack of chemistry between the crewmembers, and there were scenes thrown in by the TV execs and the producer that just Didn’t Work to increase ratings.

In “Andromeda”, the crew simply worked together well, despite differences they might have had off-duty.

I’m sure there are other comparisons to be made. Will leave that to the rest of you. Let’s have some fun with this one.
