Off-Line Synching Woes

I have setup Off-line Synching and
I have noticed that all the files that i’ve setup as off-line are not being transferred back and forth when I come into the office and let my laptop go through the synch process.

I am concerned that information that I am saving is being lost.

Is there anything i can check to make sure it is behaving correctly? Is off-line synching not a stable way?
