I have several clients with lots of data that are requesting “15 minute recovery”.
I was thinking of using a “warm” off site backup of their servers. Using identical servers and via the internet running real time mirroring of data. If they go down, I can physically pickup their server from the off site location and deliver it to the office, configure IP and let them get back to work.
The 3 programs I have found are…
DoubleTake – I think this is too expensive
SOSStandby
Vice Versa
The only reviews I found were on Vice Versa and that was syncing “My Documents” to a USB drive.
Has anyone tried or used this method of a warm, off site backup?
