After installing Publisher 2000, Office 2000 applications no longer fuction on a clients stand alone PC.
When you open an Office application, with or without Publisher running, as soon as you click on any Office application screen, the Office app closes and takes you back to your desktop.
To make Office work you must uninstall Publisher and Office and then reinstall Office.
Does exactly same thing under 98SE, ME, and 2000 Pro. Current fix is to install Office under one OS and Publisher under 2nd in a dual boot configuration, which is rather extreme and not very handy.
Any suggestions?
