    Locked

    by scummybear ·

Have just reinstalled Office 97 Pro on my PC and lost the toolbar that sits at the top of my desktop.

    Can anyone help?

Also, I am new to this points thing, so if I don’t allocate enough to the question, please don’t be offended.

Just use Windows Explorer to navigate to your Microsoft Office folder. Look for a file called Microdsoft Office Shortcut Bar and double-click it, and you’re back in business.

      Hope this helps!

      PS 150 points is plenty.

Run setup again and this time choose the CUSTOM install. Then scroll down and select the OFFICE TOOLS choice. Then select CHANGE OPTIONS, which will then show you various choices of what to install. Select the first thing shown, MSOFFICE TOOLBAR andcomplete the install. After rebooting, you will have the toolbar, (you may have to add it to your startup folder).

answer 1 is correct but one more thing: when you find the file right click on it and choose copy now navigate to the windows\start menu\startup folder and paste it into this folder.
DONT DO WHAT ANSWER 3 SUGGESTS ITS A WASTE OF TIME.

points are enough just dont be stingy and give it to anyone that answered your question and the ansewr is a sollution even if you did not do that one, so here the one who answerd the second question (answer 2) should also get points since his answerwill also solve the problem.

Double click on the Microsoft Office Toolbar in the MSOFFICE folder. It will then prompt you if you want it to start everytime you turn your pc on
