On an NT 4.0 SP5 system, Excel 97 files have full control for a global group. On opening these files on another system, with the user in the global group, the files are opening as Read-only. The folder down to the file has full control permissions to that group. The worksheet also has no read-only properties. This is also happening in Word 97. The orginal file is an Excel 97 or Word 97 file. Both systems are identically set up.
Any suggestions??
