Office XP

By CTR2000 ·
When i create a new email message and click the to: box my address book comes up but the icons that are normally beside the names are not there and the first two names are blank but if you click on them they appear and they are the hotmail accounts i have on the system.
I checked in display settings to see if a color was wrong and since the everything beside the names is in white i check for any white color font and change it to black but to no avail.
Does anybody have any idea why the hotmail accounts would be white out and the icons on the left of the names be gone. I am running windows 2000. Thanks.

How were those entries populated? In any case, try these:

-Change the Display As field back to the full name of the contact. To do this, open the contact, click the Display As field, and then type an appropriate display name for the contact.

-Delete the name in the Display As box, and then either press the TAB key to move out of the box and let Outlook populate it, or type the name and address as you want them to appear.

I tried that and it still comes up the same. Is there suppose to be any icons beside names when you click on the to: box to get your address book up? Does anyone else have icons beside there contact names just like in other versions of outlook?
