I run a Novell 5.0 SP6a network and just purchased a laptop from Dell with XP Windows and XP office Pro. The user is having a problem saving Excel and Word data to a network drive. When they do their laptop freezes. If the user saves to their local drive there is no problem. I have exhausted my search on Novell and MS for a fix. The laptop is a 1Ghz running 256MB ram Novell client 4.82.
Any assistance would be appreciated,
