Office97 SR2b

When trying to install Office97 SR2b, I get a popup windows that says “Setup could not find a drive with 55660 KB free disk space to install the program. Please free up some space ….”

I have over 24GB free on my drive, so that’s not a problem. I have run the SR2chk and it says I can update to SR2b. The system is a Dell 4550, WinXP, 256MB RAM, ordered without Office on it. I need this system to have Office 97 Pro on it for compatability reasons with an Access97 database.

Office97, and SR1 went on without a problem. Any help for the SR2b failure?
