I have an OfficeJet G55 that will either hang the system or cause it to reboot almost every time I either try to use it or if I turn it on AFTER the computer is booted up.
I have a 933MHz PC, with a 30 gig hard drive running 512mb RAM, running Win2K Pro with the printer hooked up via USB.
I have installed ver 2.43 and everything that has been a patch or an update since then. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software in hopes to get it to work and still there is nothing. In the beginning when I first got the printer I had problems and worked with HP and Microsoft to get the problem fixed. HP sent me an updated version (2.43) and that KINDA helped. I have still never been able to use all of the functions on the printer atany given time. If there isn’t one thing causing problems its another.
ANY help or suggestions, please let me know.
