I?ve seen an article that indicated Windows XP offline file preference when ?My Documents? are automatically sync to a network that XP compares the file version cached locally and the version on the network, and if the same, then the local copy is used.
Does anyone know where I can find this information?
I have travelling users who?s ?My Documents? are automatically stored on their home server, which when overseas, takes a very long time to open files, and shut down at the end of the day.
