Offline File Usage – no write access

by lazerwolf . Updated 24 years, 8 months ago

I’m new to Windows 2000 and have been experimenting with the “Make Available Offline” feature of 2000. It works great when I am logged in as Administrator, but with the two userids I’ve tested, the sync. starts but fails with a message about not being able to write the file (I don’t recall the message exactly). It appears to be an access rights problem. The users have “Full Control” granted in the network folder I that is being synchronized as well as on the entire C: drive.

Can anyone give me some ideas of where else to look that may be causing the problem?

Thanks.
