In Windows 2000 all of the profiles have been moved to the Documents and Settings folder off the root of C I have looked in that folder and did not find anything. I may be missing something.

Go to windows explorer, and do a search on files or folders for your c: drive. Enter *.gif in the named field. This will display every gif stored on your machine, but you should be able to figure out where the files you want to find are stored. Good luck!
