I have an Olivetti P100D but it does not recognise its CD Rom. Olivetti do not seem to support these older laptops. The PC came with a floppy drive in the “magic bay” but after initial installation this is replaced by a CD rom, the floppy drive can still be used plugged into the parallel port. At some point in time the floppy was put back in the magic bay and now the PC does not recognise the CD when it is in the magic bay. Can anybody help me restore this PC to its original set up. Or some howget the PC to recognise that the CD rom is there.
