"On-Call" Reimbursement

My employer has demanded that our IT department carry pagers and be "on-call" Friday thru Sunday on a monthly rotation.

I am involved in the financial industry and would be responsible around the clock.

Presently, compensation occurs only whenpaged-I would be interested to learn of any other reimbursement structures (I am paid hourly).

Riembursement

We rotate the pager duty amongst all the consultants. It lasts for a week and we get a half a day of vacation for each time we go on call. regardless if we have to respond to a client call or not.
