I`m trying to understand whether is it possible to have two different mail services under same domain.
Example:
Domain name: mydomain.com
Primary mail: admin@mydomain.com
Secondary mail(meant for company’s users): user1@mydomain.com, user2@mydomain.com
Primary is the domain mailserver that came together with my domain which we are currently using to receive emails from the site and secondary mailhost will be Google Business Apps mailbox which I`ve already created for the users and planning to let each of the company workers have one.
I’ve been asking a lot people but either they keep suggesting me to change the mx record or do dual delivery settings. But that’s not what I wanted. All I want is the email to be able to receive emails.
Apparently I have this error that all the secondary emails unable to receive emails stating,
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.7.1 < user1@mydomain.com>: Relay access denied. (state 13).
So does anyone have any idea what’s going on and explain to me?
