one job to 2 different printers of the same make? probably not. in dos it's one LPT port per printer. unless the dos program prints to LPT1 and LPT2 at the same time, it's not going to print to 2 printers. and chances that a dos based program coulddo that is slim.

Is there a way to send the print job over my network to an NT Server from the server back to the two ports on the original computer. I could use the "net use LPT1: command to get the dos program to the server.

output the job to a file, then use dos print command (yes its print filename prn, or whatever you capture your port to) Its ancient dos, but still works

I assume the printers are in two separate locations? I work part time doing some work with a fire department that had the same problem. Unfortunately, the only solution we came up with was a hardware solution, and it's not very cheap (this may be relative, of course). We were looking at Black Box Network Services (http://www.blackbox.com). There's a small box that hooks up to the parallel port of your printer. It then simply sends the signal out to both printers. I forget which product it was, but if you surf through or contact a tech, I'm sure you'll find it. I believe they ran in the neighborhood of $300 a pop, plus cabling.
