By DYC ·
With the current internet infrastructure and technical development of trade service providers, such as banks, shipping, insurance, etc., can international trade be fully conducted online?

For the paperwork: theoretically yes, practically no. The paperwork for international trade is subjected to legal requirements which could (and do) differ in different parts of the world. In many countries the infrastructure for online trade is not in place or sufficiently reliable.
Movement of goods will always require "off line" actions, resulting in off line paperwork (such as dispatch orders & receive notes). Handhold devices might present problems when the labour force cannot be expected to be (computer or keyboard)litterate.
What kind of trade did you have in mind when asking the question??
good luck

When you are talking International Trade, you may be talking the U.S. Customs Service and taxes (duties). These, to my knowledge, require filling out paperwork.
